Tholos Superior Suite

“Tholos” is the Greek word for arched ceiling rooms that the Venetians originally built in the 13th century. “Arcus” is the Latin translation of the word “Tholos,” which means “arch” in English. From this special architectural feature, we named the whole complex “Arcus Suites.” Venetian architectural style is a combination of Gothic lancet arches with Byzantine and Moorish influences, and early forms from mainland Italy. Elements of this architectural style can be found in our complex of buildings and in the surrounding neighborhood of Ancient Lappa.

The “Tholos / Arcus” Superior Suite can accommodate up to 4 persons (2 adults and 1 or 2 children). This ground floor, two-room suite is divided into a bedroom and a large living area with a seating area, desk, and fireplace. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom (with a bathtub). The master bedroom (separated by a door) is located within the Venetian arched ceiling with exposed stone framework, and includes an en-suite oversized round Jacuzzi bathtub and a queen-size double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m).

The suite offers 73 square meters of interior space (terrace not included). It has a ground floor terrace, situated on the shared entrance path and equipped with a table, chairs, and an umbrella, providing direct access to the garden and the pool. The suite overlooks the village houses on the east side (terrace and entrance) and the garden and pool on the west side.
